How did I get to be so relatable?!

Lets face it, life does not always work out the way we want it to be...but, it does work ou the way it was supposed to be. So I will be celebrating my 30th birthday soon and at some point I felt like I had nothing to shown for it. I mean I should have been married by now (or at least engaged), I should have had a degree by now, I should have been working on my career and my retirement fund, but fortunately for me good things takes time. Yes I'm not married but does marriage really define who you are as a woman? Yes I do not have a degree yet but I'm fortunate enough to be funding my way through law school with no help whatsoever. Bottom line is...you're healthy, you're of sound mind and at least have a roof over your head. Stop looking for excuses and validation and start slaying! The only resource you need is dedication and the only validation you need is your own. The rest will come later...even if it is 5years late, its still an achievement.
