Sublime Sunday a trashy Post
Sublime Sunday a trashy Post
This is a post for Sublime Sunday, created by @c0ff33a here is what he says about it
Welcome to SublimeSunday a tag presenting you with the unique opportunity to post something a bit different, wacky, crazy or just whatever takes your fancy and instigated by me @c0ff33a
As the title states, I will warn you now this is going to be a trashy post.

Now I did warn you and this is indeed just simply trash on the sidewalk in NYC with all the high rise buildings in NYC a lot of garbage is generated and seeing piles of trash like this in the city is a common Site, one admittedly most people would never consider taking a photo of, but I do try to show the good the bad and even the trashy side of the city.
On a streets trash collection day, you will see big piles of trash on the sidewalk, the logistics of all the trash collection trucks on the city must be such a major undertaking, and one I hadn't given much thought about till preparing this post.
And if you think this shot was trashy...
It goes down the toilet from here

Well not exactly down the toilet, but you see all kinds of things in the trash piles on the street, such as furniture in the first shot and even something as simple as a toilet, something I have to admit before seeing this one something I thought I would never take a shot of while walking the streets in NYC.

And finishing off with this shot which fits with the Sublime theme with my edit, but not so much with the trashy side of the post, as these Pallets were stacked up outside a supermarket they had been loaded up with deliveries for the supermarket, and as they were emptied, they were stacked up ready to be loaded on the truck when they finish the job.
unless stated otherwise all photos used in my posts are taken and owned by myself, if you wish to use any of my images please contact me.

Your post title caught my attention! Only your camera could make trash look good ;)
Gosh from toilets to couches! Here only stuff in black bags get taken by our local municipality, but sadly many people here still litter the sidewalks, even though there's bins, it's a huge problem!
Yes here where I live in CT they also only pick up normal trash bags and recycling bigger stuff is picked up on two days a year unlike NYC where it seems to be they pick up everything
Thanks for your kind comment
Here in NM, you have to take the "bigger stuff" to the "transfer station." That's a place where they segregate out furniture, appliances, tools, etc. God knows what's done with it then, but at least you get rid of it. There is a local guy who makes the rounds every few weeks and will take scrap metal for recycling. You put your broken dishwasher, clothes dryer, hot water heater, etc. out by the mailbox -- and pretty soon, it disappears.
We had someone steal our old hot water heater right out of our front yard once before we could get around to hauling it off. On the one hand, it saved us the trouble of dealing with it. On the other hand, it was kind of creepy to think not only did someone know it was there -- because it wasn't real visible from the road ... but they managed to make off with it and we never heard a thing -- despite the fact we are home almost constantly.
We have bulk pickup twice a year where you can put out the big stuff or if you need to get rid of it at other times we also have a transfer station that you can take it to.
That is kind of creepy that someone took it without you even knowing
I remember walking down the street and seeing all of the things that people had put to the road. It is easy to forget that this is something that people in the big cities have to deal with.
Yeah there is no other way they can deal with it in most buildings it is centrally collected and the building Super brings it all out on collection day

Great post & captures!
Sometimes one persons trash is another persons treasure. Steem on :)
Thanks and yes indeed it is
Oh, I knew you were trashy, long before you became my friend!! Oh, yes!! :))Thankfully, they are on the Garbage is paid through your taxes program, so there isn't the problem with people not paying the fee and finding a dumpster. That seems to be a huge problem and people are always looking for a place to dump.
I never understood people that would roll down their windows on the highway and throw out a fast-food bag they were through with. Seriously! How disgusting. I wanted to pick it up and toss it in their yard. See how it feels!
Anyway, your toilet bowl was pretty crappy. LOL Oh, I wanted to say that since you posted it! But, the edits are wow! No kidding! So, much ado about nothing. LOL Hey!! Did you take the trash out tonight????
!tip
Lol I was waiting for someone to do the toilet bowl is crappy comment 😎
Hey, I kept it PG... Sassy is such an overachiever!!! LOL
I couldn't resist, although I almost did. :))
and I also cannot understand people who throw trash out the window while driving or dump it while walking so lazy and selfish
And I took my trash out this morning 😎
See? That is why I like you! Doing your part to clean up the 'hood!!! ;))
