RE: very important

in #stufflast year

i actually dont know as much about thailand b/c i never had a chat contact there, but several in vietnam and two or some in mongolia too (who for some reason desperately wanted to get to the USA as bad as i would have liked to get to where THEY were - sadly they didnt wanna go belgium or maybe we could have struck a deal back then)

still have one person from china and one from taiwan when microsoft closed the account "for no reasons given" and afterwards when i finally got response the guy said literally again "we dont have to give you a reason" (no shit) might have mentioned that before a few times

and so everyone from vietnam to la paz and in between was gone

so i didnt get skype anymore ofcourse or onedrive or anything microsoft related xept for the fact that you cant go without windows for pc gaming still

but i never heard those ppl again

one girl from vietnam sent me a msg like .... two months ago (after years) but fell silent again after that

and i dont really chat up daily with china and taiwan either (strange combo they left me)

but i liked having ppl from all over who actually know whats going on where they live as opposed to the version you get here on tv

here, where theres no censorship (but uploadfilters !) and im sure in the UK the ministry of information is all about giving you the real, not the russian facts as well (i actually worked for a year at the local ministry of information in brussels in another life , more like "the information office" so i kinda know a little bit of how things are done ...)

in the free world heheh

jeez look at the graph to the right

its like someone turned the volume down and the parties over (again)

but its actually the same between 20 - 24 cents, something that must be real nice if you can swap it by the millions and make a months money every time (i mean like a real month, not what exists right now)

they seem to keep it in that range somehow

dont know if theres any graph that goes all the way to zero, poloniex doesnt have to the start because that looks like its been living in the basement for years (since it comes from over $7)

and so

well i dont think ill make it to asia in this life, that would require euromillions by now

not "starting up" heh, besides the point was to get some cash here and then start up there

so theres not much point to it anymore

but the next years might at least be interesting

US elections next year are gonna decide a whole lot about the fate of the globe me thinks

...

between trump and desantis ....

kinda hope they got a 3rd or a 4th with enough clout to keep running all the way

tho - - - this might sound odd but sitting here in the central cesspit, still cant shake the feeling that Donald was less bad for europe than Joe ...

ofcourse its hard to say since we have such outstanding MEPs and BEps and all kinds of

outstanding people doing outstanding stuff

who goes where and who did what lol

if there is gonna be an alien invasion now would be a good time :p

A lot of what you just said reminded me of years ago when the internet was only a few years old and everybody from all over the place was desperately trying to communicate with people from afar.
It's amazing thinking back how much better it used to be, now it's so centralized, I don't run into people for such far away places as much.

It's a shame you were no longer able to communicate with your contacts and your right about them mostly being the better people to ask rather than what we get on TV.
But to be honest when I looked for information I didn't bother with much of what I saw on TV or mainstream sites, I think you can find more truthful information with independent sites and vloggers/ bloggers.

While Thailand sounds great what happened during covid was rather disappointing and perhaps a warning to stay away, however there as generally been news going around lately that many in government admitting what happened during covid was wrong with their attack on freedom, still I don't think it would stop them from doing it again.
