My motivation for becoming a social worker came from my child hood experiences. My home town is in north of Bangladesh. In my first visit to capital city Dhaka, I found lots of street children’s were selling flowers, candies or begging. I was so young to understand the true facts of poverty, education or basic rights of human being. The sufferings of these helpless people motivate me to do something good for them. Through this way I was involved with lots of social organizations in different time frame. In school life I was active member of Bangladesh Scouts. After completing my high school I got opportunities to explore myself more in social works by involving me with different NGO’s and organizations. I worked with ‘’Mother Language Lovers of the World’’, Bangladesh Chapter (2007-09). With the death of a language, the planet loses an irreplaceable cultural phenomenon. Cultural/political/economic dominance, are the main reasons behind this extinction. That means that the survival of an entire language and all the history it encompasses can depend on the actions of just a few individuals. Nevertheless, maintaining regional identity is seen as increasingly important in the era of globalization. Language is one of the ways in which people construct their identities, and thus may be highlighted when it seems salient. So it was my privilege because my activities were to save ethnic peoples language in Bangladesh. After that I was student leader with one leftist political organization of Bangladesh ‘’Gono-sanhoty Andalon’’(2009-11) On that time government took heinous decision to make open coal mining project, ‘’Gono-sanhoty Andalon’’ raised peoples awareness and government stooped that acts, it was a successful movement. I was active on other national issues like Oil, Gas, electricity’s and natural resources. In 2013-2014 I worked as a volunteer with Green Bangla Coalition, it’s a NGO works for sustainable development in coastal area of Bangladesh. The organization works for climate change victims, health, agriculture and natural biodiversity.
My Bachelor thesis was „Growth of Urban Poverty on Socio-Cultural Life in Dhaka City“ and I analysed, the thesis aims to explore the nature of poverty in Dhaka City, Bangladesh. The thesis found that poverty in the slums of Dhaka City was most strongly influenced by recent migration from rural areas, household organisation, participation in the sector of the economy and access to housing and land. The study is based on primary data collected from slums in Dhaka City. Two hundred poor households were surveyed using a structured questionnaire to investigate the Economic activities, expenditure and consumption, access to housing and land, family and social networking, cultural and political integration. The survey data was supplemented by qualitative data collected through fifty in-depth interviews with poor households.
Before coming in Germany I had worked in a Bangladeshi research based organization „Nillmon Gallery“. I was an Research Assistant from 4th December, 2011 to 31st March, 2013. I had tried to find out social-cultural and economic-political impact over societies. As a Researcher of Nillmon Gallery I have also done Documentary Film on “Hidden Historical Evidences of War & Politics in 1971”.

Since May 2015 I am doing unpaid voluntary work with Bangladesh Child Education Development project, Frankfurt. This organization is working on child education (Bengali language community school) throughout European countries also majorly working on early and primary education among underprivileged Bangladeshi street children. I am working for fund raising and correspondence with Bangladeshi partner NGO and giving logistic and others facilities to European Bengali community schools.

Supplementary to my academicals qualification I visited further professional trainings to broaden my knowledge about political and social processes. In the program of PARADOX, a free thinking organization I dealed with the importance of rehabilitation of war crimes, also committed during the independence war of Bangladesh 1971. We discussed the negative effects of degradation of natural resources as well as the negative effects of increscent of the differences between poor and rich people for the development of low income countries like Bangladesh. With other highly qualified students and experts on politics and social development I discussed and designed new concepts of a professional leadership for Bangladesh. This training encouraged me to become acquainted with the process of democratization.
I want to advance my knowledge of methodological and theoretical approaches and there use in social science. The opportunity to learn with students from all over the world will provide us all with fruitful discussion and new perceptions. As an interdisciplinary, international and research oriented program it will prepare me for a job in specially NGO sectors as well as INGO. Development of my country and people through my knowledge is my main ambition. I will reach my goal through highly standard education from Bonn-Rhine-Sieg University of Applied Sciences. Personally I think Analysis and Design of Social Protection Systems is a world class subject for contemporary societies. Overall in my perspective if I get the opportunities I will be able to apply my ideas in my country. I have the ability, ambition and motivation and I believe I will exceed the requirements for the program.
I want to study Bonn-Rhine-Sieg University of Applied Sciences because of your outstanding educational system, focus on gathering relevant work experience, and your excellent facilities. I want to enhance my knowledge on democratization and political processes to be able to make a contribution to the development of my country.
