Why knowing your strengths and weaknesses can build a better future for yourself?

We are always trying to fit. No matter in what circumstance we are, we are always trying to look for the right way of being in order to be generally accepted. As this sometimes is considered a natural reaction from our bodies, we should always be aware of our ego in order to improve. If you think you are perfect and you don't have any flaws or weaknesses, the most probable outcome you will get is to just stop trying to get better at anything, and settle the way you are. While this kind of mindset is respectable and actually you should be capable of accepting yourself, this doesn't mean that you shouldn't try to do what you want to improve those aspects of your life that you see like weak, and to develop your strenghts to become a winner.
Most sport coaches when asked how did they do with their apprentices to reach the top or highest level in their category, they say that it is not a matter of being perfect, but to accept your capabilities and to extremely develop your strengths to become the best in that aspect, so that positive results will come afterwards.

Talking about tennis, when we talk about the 3 kings of today court, we can observe how they had extremely developed their strenghts to become the greatest in history.

Roger Federer, an extremely classy player, knew with their team how to evolve with their almost magic skills into an elegant job to become the very best. However, his mindset is not so good as compared to others, that is why he actually has lost some key points in his career or even broke some rackets.

Rafael Nadal, is a relentless guy who will never stop passing you the ball until you won the best point of your career so far 😂 he is so mentally strong, that no matter how bad he is playing or how bad is the result, he will always try as one of the very best players in the history of this sport (he has never broken a single racket). Nevertheless, Nadal has always had a weak service, and sadly and not due to his effort, a lot of injuries, what made him lost games or a pair of years in the latter mentioned case.

Novak Djokovic is one of the most elastic players in the world, as well as a very well adaptive guy who can change the way he plays depending on the surface that comes in. This makes him one of the most talented players not because of his quality, but for his ability to adapt (survival of the fittest). Novak has shown signs of not a very high mental strength as compared to others, as well as not the best net volley when trying to win points.

The summary of all this is that, no matter how good you think you are, you will always have weaknesses and that is just OK. We should always look for ways to improve them as well as to explode our strengths to become awesome.

Stay safe,
