The Parking Pot | Photo Contest

Hi, Steemians!

Here I present my entry for today's @photocontests. This one was taken yesterday while I was on a 'Corpus Christi Photo Shoot' around Ciudad Colonial. This pot called my attention since it is located on a completely 'off-spot', next to a parking area among the very little available in the zone (designated for that at least!), containing a chopped-off tree trunk.

It represents the irony of the place somehow, since in Ciudad Colonial is very hard to find planted trees in the sidewalks, hence the little shrubs planted in stone pots. The sidewalks are very narrow to begin with. It is like the struggle of preserving nature while denying it...
