The Haunted Path

It was past 4 o'clock in the morning when I decided to have a morning walk and I happened to face two turns of paths. I stopped and suddenly think if what would be the best path to take during that time. The one is a very simple and so clean that I didn't bother to take photos of it, while this one really catches my attention. This path is only taken by few due to some rumors that said there are a lot of individuals who heard noises that sometimes like a weeping woman or a sound of an "Aswang" which is the most prolific monsters in Filipino folklore. I do feel like I'm having goosebumps but it also gives me the feeling of challenge and thrill so I opt to take this one.

When I'm in the middle of the darkness, I suddenly thought that being in the dark is much preferable than being in the light. For when I'm in the light, I am really so afraid of what's in the dark ahead. Maybe it's just because of my experience and my emotion during that time. And during this time, I believe that it's worth the risk when you learn to take the steps to conquer your fears.
