Bridgde to be connected- streetphotography

Driving over bridges make me think back in time. What was it like? Where did you have to travel when no bridges were build? How much time did you have to use to travel just small distances.

We take most thing for granted. Behind every bridge or building it is a lot of planning and work. Do we plan anything today before we get connected, or do we just do it?
