Pikes Place

Here is my entry for the #streetphotography challenge this week. I took it at Pikes Place Market last Saturday. I threw a dollar in her cup and moved away for a photo. The crowd shuffled by paying mostly no attention to the music she was playing. I liked the rawness of it mixed with the fish smell and the crowded city streets it felt right. I enjoyed the music and snapped a couple shots before moving along with the rest of the hustlers and bustlers of Pikes Place. Out of all the shots this was my favorite, where she was looking at me through a crowd of people, the lens' of her eyes peering into the lens of my camera. I took this with a Panasonic DMC-G1, 14mm lens. Thanks for looking!!!!!
