Street photography entry
“When the winds of change blow, some people builds walls and others build windmills.”
It’s me at Pilillia, Rizal’s windmills. Camera iPhone 6s
Hello everyone!
Here’s my entry for street photography challenge organized by @juliank.
The pictures shows the windmills where you can find in Pilillia, Rizal. Pililla actually means “little Pila,” or “minor Pila,” alluding to Pila town in Laguna, as the two belonged to the same jurisdiction ruled over by a leader during the Spanish colonial era. But there is nothing little or minor now about this town blessed with riches from the earth and sky with its beautiful green hills, majestic windmills, and the sweetest pineapples.
Me and my family tried to visit this place before coz it’s just near to my father’s place in Sta. Maria Laguna. Last 2016 we went there, the place is not yet developed and not yet familiar unlike nowadays people visits there because of the main attraction, the windmills. There are 27 wind turbines stand atop sloping hills at 300 meters above sea level, towering over Laguna de Bay.
