Strawberries? (entry for jacinta.sevillas mini art contest)

So.. Did anyone notice new year just showed up, poked it's head in and then left again? Living in a hostel filled with crazy people @iwanderela and I certainly noticed something was up..

I finally managed to bargain with my hangover, making it release it's iron-grip on my head and soul in exchange for a worthy sacrifice of chocolate and pancakes. With a clear head and no more excuses for being a lazy bastard, the she-devil descended on me like a coffee deprived drill sergeant on a poor sleepy eyed private.

I had been doodling a bit before the new years eve guests arrived to kill time, so as I started my steemit reading this morning and found @jacinta.sevilla 's strawberry contest It was just perfect.

On a final note.. strawberries are awesome, they taste heavenly, remind me of summer and childhood and they are amazing in a cake.. and that, dear steemians, is the real art! (specially the cake part, something is wrong with you if you don't think of strawberry cake as art, I mean, just look at it :p)
