I have walked up in a tower in a church in Prague Castle and at the top they have a first aid station. Hehe, there were so many stairs that one had to rest on the way up. Up there looked out over large parts of Prague, but I did not see any bird bones up there just doves and can not remember if there were many bells there, You counted 32 in your place :) And fortunately there were no tricky stairs there.
On your one picture, I wonder if it may be sharing the elevator motor.
