This is no joke.

Indeed, think of blockchains being another but much more efficient manner of extending the natural boundary of men, being a number of about 150 people that one single person can socially maintain around him/her, unless men use tools to extend that network.

We already have a lot of tools to do this. But not a clever tool that creates decentralised trust over the Internet. The most obvious application is Internet currency. Bitcoin as the Internet of Money. And now we are gradually seeing other types of applications, like Steemit, BitShares, Ethereum and countless of other variants.

In that respect, we may well still be in the ages of Angelfire, Tripod and Pegasus e-mail. A lot of coins/apps will vanish and only the strong (useful) will survive.
