The long surgery was finally over. Little Sara had a diaphragmatic rupture and a small tear in the spleen, both of which Amy had worked really hard to repair. It was finally over, and all she wanted to do was find a comfy spot, curl up and sleep till the next week. However, she still had to talk to the parents of the girl. At that thought, she remembered the voice she heard on the phone, and shivered a little.

Phew! 'Mrs Johnson is one lucky woman' she thought. Having a husband with such husky and sexy voice, you could never be bored.
Being very single at 28 made Amy's hormones to act up at very odd hours, like now when she was attracted to the voice of a man! A married man for that matter. 'I really really do need to get laid' she thought as she discarded her scrubs and went in search of the parents.

Mr Caleb Johnson had been sitting at the waiting room for about 5hours, he was at the brink of madness. Sara was his world, his everything and he didn't know what he would do if he lost her.
He ran his hand through his hair as he thought of the day he lost her mother. It was just a few months after the birth of Sara that he lost the love of his life to heart failure caused by an enlarged heart. He had vowed never to fall in love again, but it was too late for such vow. he was already in love with his daughter, and sitting here in a hospital waiting room brought back all the memories.
Terrible memories! He couldn't think about the possibility of his little girl dying.

He raked his hand through his hair one more time as he let out a bitter laugh. Any of his business associates who saw him in his current state would never believe him to be the ruthless businessman they all knew. His patience was running thin and his leg began to shake uncontrollably... they were taking too long.

He raised up his head just as a young woman in what looked like pajamas stepped into the waiting room. She looked like she was looking for someone and he used the time to study her.
Short, maybe 5'2 or 5'3, hair tied up in a bun, no make up on her very pretty face, infact she looked stressed out, but Caleb felt drawn to her like ant to sugar. Maybe it was about her curves, they were just as he liked them. She was altogether slim, with somewhat small breasts, he was sure they were perky. Her hips were wider, not in a fat way... in fact, she looked tight, if a person could be described as being tight.. she definitely works out, she was too much in shape for it to have happened by chance. She had obviously had a slim waist, though her pajama top made it hard to appreciate.

As he continued his perusal, forgetting his predicament for a moment, her eyes landed on Aniekan, his sitter who was dosing on a chair nearby. He had asked her to go home but she wouldn't, she felt guilty.
Miss 'tight' walked up to Aniekan, and immediately Caleb knew she was looking for him. He jumped up and reached her in 4 long strides.
'Hey are you Sara's doctor?' She turned to face me
'Yes I am. You must be Mr Johnson. please sit down'
'I'm fine standing, I've been sitting for 5hours now!' He couldn't help the impatience in his voice.
'Suit yourself' apparently neither could she
'Mr Johnson' she continued 'Sara had a tear in her diaphragm and on her spleen and...'
'please spare me the jargons for now. how is Sara' Caleb cut in.. he was almost pleading.
'Sara is fine, she did well in surgery, and is currently in the recovery room. You will be able to see her shortly'
Amy watched as Mr Johnson's shoulder visibly relaxed. A broad and perfectly shaped shoulder. She sighed wistfully.

Seeing the owner of the voice had done nothing to quell Amy's desires. If anything they were heightened. In front of her was an alpha male... the type she saw in her dreams like the one she had that morning.
He was tall, handsome in a hard sort of way, with a short hair cut and well shaped beard. He looked edible in his expensive looking suit, with the button undone and his tie loosened. He didn't look like the father of a girl who just came out of surgery. Infact, if not for the worry lines around his eyes and the stressed look on his face, he could have easily been a picture out of a fashion magazine.
