Cowardice 20

The fifth game of this event called 'Tower Hug' has became a circus of violent events. Right now, a large number of humongous insects has been attacking Grunt's teammates.

The situation is pretty hard to tactically plan on how to counter and maneuver. Atleast the growing number has already been suppressed, thanks to Grunt for killing Moringga just moments ago. But still, it's a tough time, in a more sporty term, they call it crunch time.

Vex rushed towards their tower to aid Sarah, Moggy and Coala. While running, Vex puts his goggles on and pulls out his sling shot. He loads a marble in the sling shot and aims to one of the insects.

"Poom", Vex hits the head of one of the insects but it wasn't enough to take it down. The insect that has been hit reacts by pursuing to kill Vex instead.

Vex then immediately loads two marbles in his sling shot and aims to the head again. It misses the target but instead, the two marbles hits a flying insect above the 'supposed to be hitted insect'.

Right before the 'the supposed to be hitted insect' reaches Vex, the flying insect drops to the 'supposed to be hitted insect'.

That is simply just the work of Vex's reverse jinx powers.

"Tsk, this situation is tough, these insects are hard to kill", Vex notices the situation in details.

"Sarah, the jinx is here", Coala notifies Sarah. Sarah then looks to her arm and was surprised on what she saw. She has two large dots on her arm meaning that Vex and Grunt's hunt was a success.

"That is why it took them too long, but where is Grunt?", Sarah says out of the gray areas that she cannot understand in the situation.

A cockroach can live for a full week with it's head severed from the body cause of it's ability to breathe on many parts of it's body. It only dies out of thirst and hunger cause of the absence of it's mouth.

A flea can jump up to 200 times it's body length, it's so ridiculous if you could imagine a human being can do the same thing. That only happens in animes.

Insects are the most successful and prolific animals on the planet. It's no exaggeration to say that they are the true rulers of the planet. Just imagine if these creatures grew up to 12 feet animals and knocks at your doorsteps to offer you their very expensive beauty products. Would you be able to say no? Probably yes, if you have a can of insecticide.

"Haaa", Moggy smashes the head of one of the insects with a boulder. This fight looks like it has no end to it and Moggy is starting to wear off already.

Meanwhile, back in Grunt's site, Grunt is still fighting the remaining allies of Moringga. Vex left Grunt to fight the whole Moringga team by his own. Somehow, Vex felt the trust to let Grunt fight by his own after he saw Grunt capturing a tower by his self.

"You're quite impressive, you being just a mere human was able to reach this far for this event, that makes me think, are you really just a human?", an elf holding a bow and arrow while aiming to Grunt on a tree branch asks.

Grunt just stands still and breathes deeply. The four enemies are quite confident with their number.

"Human, you're quite unlucky eh? Did a God bought you on a slave trade or took you from some gladiator game", another Moringga team member asks Grunt and this time it's the alchemist ogre.

Not known by many, most contenders in Cowardice were just 'beings' that has been forced to participate by some God's that were desperate to put as much players under their names. It's just cause of politics. Having beings to play for you as a God means leverage and ranking.

"Shut up incompetent ogre, I came here to cut the throats of ones like you, I just simply enjoy killing animals like you"

One of the minotaurs was about to attack when the other minotaur stops it.

"This human is not just 'lucky' he is also 'funny'.", the elf punches another mock.

"Then why not fire that now to see how much 'luck' does this human have", Grunt answers with a provoking statement.

Everyone suddenly went into silence.

The two minotaur gazes at each other and charges with their cleavers.

Grunt still hasn't have his spear with him . It's still meters away from him since he threw it to kill Moringga to stop the insect spawning.

The elf fires an arrow to Grunt. Grunt blocks the arrow with his shield

The minotaurs reaches Grunt in range of attack and raises their cleavers for an attack.

Grunt slides between the legs of one of the minotaurs and runs towards his spear. The ogre was near the spear and takes it.

"Hahahaha, you think I'll let you have this?" the ogre raises the spear and strikes the middle of the spear on his own knee.

"Stupid", Grunt whispers. "Boooooooooom", an explosion happens right on the ogre. The 'Spear of a Thousand Suns' flew cause of the explosion. Thankfully it flew straight in range of Grunt and catches it.

The moment Grunt catches the spear, a glint of fire sparked from Grunt's eyes. Grunt looks to the remaining opponents with those fiery eyes.

The minotaurs pursuing Grunt was already behind when he was able to reach his spear. At the beat of the moment, Grunt reacted perfectly in the situation. The two minotaur swings their cleavers to Grunt and Grunt blocks em with his shield.

"Paaaaag", the sound of collision between the shield and the cleavers was everywhere. The attack of the minotaurs were so strong that it made Grunt dig the earth by his feet.

"Grrrrr", Grunt is angry right now. When the minotaurs raised their weapons again to strike Grunt hits the soil with his shield and makes it spin with that gimmick again. With all of that move done, the soil spattered everywhere that startled the two minotaurs for a moment.

Grunt ignites his spear making it covered in fire. Grunt then throws his spear with everything he has. The 'Spear of the Thousand Sun' flew like a bird of fire between the two minotaurs.

The elf behind Grunt shoots an arrow to Grunt and makes a hit. The arrow hits Grunt's shoulder. Grunt goes down on one of his knees.

"What did you just did right now? You worked on getting your spear and wasted it on a failure" the minotaurs stops from attacking. They already assumed that they had already won.

"Now that you'll about to die? Any last words?", the elf asks Grunt with a very old tag line while aiming to Grunt.

"Creeeeeek", a big sound fills the whole place. Everyone was looking around to see where the sound was coming from.

It's a tree, a big tree! Grunt has threw that last big attack to a gigantic tree that made it move.

Now the tree collapses towards the area. Grunt ran away as much as he can while the others are still reacting to the sound. When the three had realized what was coming, it was already late.

"Blaaaam", a big tree crushes the whole area, the crash made some of the dusts mix with the air around the area.

Grunt took the spear and started walking back to his tower. "Failure? What does that even mean?"
