A great story of a tree // Motivating

Today i read a short story during my train journey. I dnt know by whom writter this story is written. But surely I can say, this story is motivatibg and quite helpful to live our daily life. Thats why I thought I should share this story or motivating information to all. Read carefully,
Here it is...

Once there was a tree in a forest, which had thin, pointed leaves. It felt sad when it saw the large, green leaves of other trees. 'How unlucky I am!', it moaned, 'if only god gave me leaves of gold I could stand proud among other trees.'

The next morning the tree stood transformed. It had leaves of gold. It shone with dazzling brilliance in the sun, but a night-fall a greedy man came to that tree, plucked all the golden leaves and stole away. The tree lamented again of his bad luck. It wished to have leaves made of glass. It thought that the leaves would shine brighter than gold and no one would steal them.

The next morning the tree was again transformed. The tree felt proud to see its leaves reflected in all directions in the sun. But that night the wind blew violently. All the glass leaves were broken.

The tree became sad again. The tree now wished to have fragrant leaves. Its wish was granted too. The next day the whole forest was filled with the sweet smell of its leaves, but soon some goats were attacked by the pleasant smell. They came there and nibbled at the leaves until not a trace of green was left on the tree.
'How foolish I have been!' said the tree sadly. It understood that its own leaves were best for it,not any other. It had learnt a great lesson. The next day the tree was once again covered with thin, pointed leaves. It felt as proud of its own leaves as the other trees felt of theirs.

Moral of the story: "Everyone should be content with what he has"
