JFK - Another iconic 60's Statesman who's words we should heed today.
JFK made so many memorable speeches that were poignant, delivered with eloquence and inspired many in his time but are they still inspirational today?
The 60's was a period of unprecedented change across the world and few men had an impact like JFK. I have posted over the past few days quotes from 3 other men who for me helped to change the world. JFK is the 4th.

If you haven't seen the others please click the links and take a look at what these men said. Sadly not enough kids today are taught about these great men in school. In the USA I'm sure they are taught however the rest of the world can learn from the words and deeds of all of these icons.
Back to JFK.
If you don't know a lot about him take the time to research him as he was an incredible and flawed man but no doubt a true Stateman. Click below for his biography .

So let's see what he said.
This needs to be true or were in big trouble in the future.
Always.
He was without doubt an example of this.
Prophetic. The revolution he spoke of may have happened but we are on the cusp of another. Heed the words.
Wise words, all leaders in the world should take on board.
We seem to be heading that way.
Sadly this will always be true.
A simple statement worthy of Ghandi.
Considering the USA is now $20trillion in debt this statement holds true.
Deep and meaningful.
Visionary and they did it with 6 months to spare even though he been dead for nearly 6 years.
Wise words yet again.
Beautiful.
There are so many more wise words I could have put into this piece and you can look at others here.....

Great words from great man .. really enjoying this series of yours, Many words I'd forgotten and many I hadn't heard but all very relevant for these uncertain times. Upvoted and resteemed, as I did with your Ali work. Being an ex boxer myself Ali is always someone I've held in great esteem. Thanks for taking the time to share all these great words.
Thanks for the kind words @perceptualflaws
Ali was a hero of mine as I had boxing history in my family however he transcended the sport.
JFK is sadly remembered by most people for getting his brains blown out and many have never discovered what a brave visionary he was.
Thanks again.
It's still not reconstructable to me that there was/is a group in society that has the power to assassin any person who doesn't fit into their agenda. Maybe Kennedy was the last chance to mankind; if people don't wake up and unite their strength to rebuilt "egalite, fraternite, liberte!" ... - I don't even want to think any further... GREAT QUOTES of an even GREATER MAN!
The hidden hand is and sadly will always be there. It's up to us to try to mitigate their power in our lifetimes to hopefully make the world we leave behind a better place for the next generation.
This has to be the goal of any single life! Wisely spoken words, cheers!
Have you ever heard "The Speech that got Kennedy Killed" ??
It's a bit creepy when you look at the context of modern day.
I know buddy, just goes to show how brave and ultimately naive he was.
LBJ is sitting behind him thinking " I'm gonna kill your ass"
A truther and no doubt. It can be dangerous.
Just look at the body count surrounding the Clintons.
A good reason to try and keep your anonymity when blogging about this stuff.
Cheers dude.
Cheers
This is very moving, thank you for posting. I think it is a shame how the mainstream media has continued relentlessly to focus peoples' attention on his sex life. Perhaps to distract us from his virtues and integrity and the empowering messages contained in his speeches and the quotes you've included here.
Very true. He was flawed but I don't know a great man who wasn't.
It's their flaws that make them strive to be great.
Trump should take a lesson from this dude.
