Just Another Actor in LaLa Land.
I spent about 12 years in Los Angeles and did some acting while there. Hollywood is everything they say it is and that's a good and a bad thing. Nonetheless, it's an experience that I will never forget and plan to break down for you in little stories in the future.
I remember auditioning fo this spot and the producers where Argentinian or Chilean. They seemend to enjoy the stupid faces I make and my agent called me shortly after the audition to confirm my booking. It usually never happens that quick. Usually, an actor auditions and has to wait a few days for a call to hopefully come. If the call does come, it's usually to put you on hold for the project, not really confirming the job for certain. A day or two later your agent calls again to book you or drop you (because you were just an alternate option).
An actors job isn't that exciting. It involves a lot of waiting in an trailer or RV, eating snacks while the rest of the crew sets up. I did, however, make some cool friends and business relations. In this decade I certainly plan to write and shoot my own feature film. Anyhow, this commercial was about a 12 hour shoot, starting early in the a.m., as most filming does. Enjoy, upvote and share! Thanks gangsters!
