A Walk Through The Worst 5 Stars Hotel I've Ever Stayed In!

This is a story about a nightmare staying at 5 Stars Hotel.

We plan for a family gathering in one of the most exclusive hotel in Malaysia. Because my sisters love riding a horse, so we had decided to stay in 5 stars hotel, Palace of The Golden Horses. This hotel theme is all about horses so it quite cool!

When we arrived at the hotel the receptionist was very slow to serve us. We have booked through online Booking.com. She mentions that she can't find our booking. After a while she said we did the wrong booking.It supposed to be under one name for each room. This is not our 1st time book through booking.com. Almost everywhere we go we use either Booking.com, Agoda or Airasiago.com. Hotels in Europe we booked through booking.com with separate names for each room and never ever face a problem like this. The form from booking.com required us to put a different name for each room booked. So we don't see a problem at all.

The way she tread us like we are the first time traveller! first time staying in a hotel! Actually, we have traveled a lot, from Asian countries like Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand to Asia; we have been to India, China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan to Middle East Saudi Arabia, then to Turkey to Europe Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Portugal, France, Belgium, Holland and London. We are family who love to travel a lot! seriously this is the first time we face with rude & arrogant receptionist! maybe because she felt that she worked at 5 Stars Hotel so she has some class! The problem here is who should serve who?..supposed she has to apologize, then admit she has little knowledge about booking through booking.com (which she supposed to learn & alert about online booking), she has to learn to respect people! no matter what cannot simply put the blame on us and give an excuse that we did a wrong booking! but at last, she found our booking after a help her online hotel' staff on phone.

It actually hotel who did the wrong key in our form as our names quite similar, my sisters name all start with Mimi so the hotel gets confused & they though only one person booking!..we don't pay approx RM1000 for one room!..they should just follow the booking.com form there! it would be more simple!..luckily we have with us the copy of the online booking!..after realizing it her mistake she doesn't even say an apologized to us!

By the end of the day if people said that we have to dress to impress might probably correct! if we just wearing simple shirt no make-up or what so ever & staying in 5 stars hotel like this in Malaysia there is big chance they will treat us poorly!

Ok enough with the service!..now let me story you about the hotel condition itself!..firstly it looked old and creepy.I try to vlog alone in hotel, I went to garden then goes to downstairs (beautiful stairs) really looked like a real palace which is great!..but when I take steps further the walking hall there has only a few lamp on, and some how, I lost and enter to dark area of hotel because it quite big hotel maybe because too excited to vlog I end up to place in with no lamp!., I don't know what is the place for why so dark and so quite seriously very scary and creepy like shooting a ghost story, surely you can haunt a ghost there!..after some time I at last found the lift (elavator) to go to my room.

So I did record in my vlog how terrible the wall across to rooms, so dirty and old, they should do construction, modify where it needs, make it a new look...almost every angle look old & creepy! The door of my room cannot lock!, the towel only one (after complained we get a towel for each one of us), the room cannot lock! (after complained the maintenance come and repair), the shower tub can't be used! so we used the shower rain instead, did complain & ask for another room (switch the room), the hotel said "sorry hotel full today!"

The mattress springs have broken, the bathroom is so dirty, no floor mat and lots of mosquitoes. The meal served also not so much, very limited food and not even delicious!

So overall it is a package of a nightmare hotel!..so who ever come to Malaysia and plan to stay there think twice! unless there is offer or you also a hotel reviewer so it's fine!..the price actually quite cheap compare to other 5 stars hotel so it worth a try!
