When the Narcissist Loses You

You loved them unconditionally
Your forgave them regularly
You were called the worst of names
Yes you withstood the test in the burning flames

But you decided enough was enough
Because what you went through was really rough
You survived the physical fights, the verbal abuse, and the mental pain
All of which you know if you don't leave you probably go insane

So onwards you go moving on with your life
But here comes that old narcissistic Jezebel wife
Love bombing is the name of the game she likes to play
Armed with tears in her eyes begging you to stay

You decide this time it is over, you want a divorce
But that wife of yours decides to take a different course
She all of a sudden find your family and friends
Because now she wants to make her marriage amends

Now you are between a rock and a hard place
Wondering if you are just acting on emotions moving in a haste
So now you decided to let her back into your space again
But that sweet wife of yours will continually inflict pain
