HE HATES GOING TO SCHOOL
Sometimes i wonder why kids hates going to school i just got to find one of the reasons.
His name is Wilson my cousin he has been with us for just five days and he will be staying with us for a month.
His mom is my aunt and she is a single mom and Wilson happens to be the only child. She went for a business trip and it will take a whole month so Wilson has to stay till she returns.
The first day i took Wilson to school he held my hand and told me not to go that i have to stay with him at school but i thought it was normal thing cos usually most kids hates going to school.
I told him that parents/guardians are not allow to stay with kids in the classroom and you know it Wilson so that means i cant stay with you but i will stay right here until your teacher comes the teacher came and carried him, he couldn't stop staring at me until i was out of his site.
So when i got home i called his mom and she said that Wilson love school but he just developed that habit this term then i knew that something was behind it but i only thought of it for a while and i forgot about it.
It was closing time and i went to pick him from school when i saw him he was moody i asked him what happened he said he was punished in class today that everyone laughed at him in the class that they now call him HUNGRY DOG i asked him why he said he is always hungry at school but you had enough food in your lunch box what happened he said it wasn't enough.
My bad i didn't put enough to him i took him home and called the mom immediately she said Wilson dont eat much that she don't know what is happening to him these days that i should make sure i put enough food for him next time.
The next day was the worst i took him to school one hour later his teacher called that he developed a fever and was taken to the sick bay.
I quickly rushed to his school the first thing he said was Aunty Rosie i don't want to come to this school again everyone here is making me hate school i don't enjoy going to school anymore i asked him why?
He said there are bullies in his class they always take his lunch during break and told him not to talk else they will beat him and he will start bleeding from the nose.
Oh mine why didn't you say something, that he was scared. For how long have this been going on he said since this term i felt like crying for him thank God his teacher was there and i asked her if she is aware of that she no.
Immediately they called the boys and took them to the disciplinary team of the school while waiting for their parents.
When they parents of the boys arrived they asked them the reason for the act they said nothing that they enjoyed seeing the boy mocked in class.
They were suspended for two days and were asked to apologize to him which they did.
Then this morning while taking him to school he asked me if the boys will still trouble him again i said no even if they do you have to tell your teacher then and he went in happily.
Most times we dont ave to scold kids because they refused to go to school we have to bring them closer make them know that we can help them over come their fears.
