News of retirement of former head coach of the Pakistani cricket team, Mikey Arthur, his friend and head coach of the Pakistan women's cricket team, Mark Collins, has announced his retirement for personal reasons. He is returning to New Zealand next week. Pakistan Cricket Board has appointed the national women's cricket team's batting coach Iqbal Imam as the team's interim head coach for the series against Bangladesh. The series will continue in Lahore from October 26 to November 4. Mark Coles' replacement will be announced. Mark Coles, who took over in October 2017, was in Australia next year, scheduled for the ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2020. Mark Coles said he was reluctantly stepping down as head coach of the Pakistani women's cricket team.
