THIS MAN (An Original Poem)

This man, half of my soul
makes me whole
not in need, only in partnership
we are individuals, stronger together

We met in the middle of life
excited for adventure
always looking forward
as the past no longer has weight

This man, patient from the start
balances my heart
we are different, but yet the same
how is it that I am so lucky

He is with me in spirit
I am never alone
even when we are apart
we are one in connection

This man is true
we share honesty from within
our love building each layer with hope
it comes from a place that only God knows

This man is love.
