I'm slowly making my way through your story. I keep getting distracted by all the new and wonderful stories here at Steemit, but yours is brilliant, so I have no intentions of letting it go. I just wanted to say that this particular episode has really stepped things up a notch. The building of tension, and the developing sense of dread all came across just right.
Thanks very much, @naquoya! Please forgive any unintentional spelling mistakes as I'm running on a very tight schedule in my personal life and time is always against me. However, I will most likely be releasing the entire thing with everything fixed up after it's all completed.

That's cool, I can forgive the occasional spelling mistake. Especially when the story structure and idea keep one reading and enthralled. It would be different if I paid for the work, but I didn't. You are sharing this freely, so I judge differently.
It's not easy finding the time to write, publish/post, interact, and still have everything as top notch as possible. And still have time for yourself and your family. All the best to you, and your efforts with publishing this in the near future.
