TIFU by Accidentally Showing my Support for the Japanese

So this happened a few years ago. I was in high school and we were playing jeopardy in history class as groups. The winners would get to bring their game of choice and face people from the other group in class. As we got closer to christmas holidays our teacher allowed to bring our games and i decided to bring Battleship. I nearly beat every single person in the class and inadvertently said out loud that it was in the Japanese blood. The teacher pulled me aside and told me that this was very inappropriate of me.

Didn't realize it was December 7th.
