Dang well we had two of them (about 7 inches long each) in the house when I live in the desert (out in the stix) and you couldn't crush them with anything but a heavy rock. They were huge! Great article, though. And the hilarious thing was one of the ran over the husband's foot while he was on the toilet. He screamed like a girl! Hahahah
OMG I would freak out if that happened to me!! And they're TOO fast to kill! I always run to get the vacuum!
