Bulgarian pepper: tasty and healthy
Now it's half autumn. The village can hear the hum of tractors. The autumn works in the gardens are completed. There is a plowing of gardens. Time flies by. But October was dry and very warm. Therefore, I am not in a hurry with plowing a vegetable garden. I still grow Bulgarian pepper.
Somewhere I read that Bulgarian pepper is a perennial plant. But we know him as an annual plant. Bulgarian pepper grows to the most frost. When you pull out a frozen pepper with roots, you see how many more young peppers are on it, full-blown inflorescences. And then you believe that Bulgarian pepper can really be a perennial plant.
Already in some regions of our country the first snow fell. And my pepper is growing, the bushes are covered with juicy fruits.
I think that many housewives use pepper in their twists: adjika, lecho, various salads. From pepper you can cook a lot of different dishes. My family loves pepper stuffed with meat and rice. I myself love pickled peppers, filled with cabbage and carrots or garlic with parsley. I already wrote about this. Now I freeze paprika in the freezer. I cut pepper into cubes or straws.
At first I freeze, and then I fold in bags. In winter, add pepper to soups, borscht, salads. This pepper is enough for me until next season. In the meantime, in the garden there is fresh pepper, I often make a simple but very useful salad, which we call the "Autumn Vitamin".
I take three or four bell peppers, two cloves of garlic, one egg, a bunch of parsley, and vegetable oil for refueling. I cut all the ingredients, salt to taste, fill with vegetable oil. "Autumn vitaminchik" is ready!
We all know about the benefits of these products. Bulgarian pepper contains, probably, all the vitamins that exist in nature, has a positive effect on vision, prevents cardiovascular diseases, protects the body from stress, improves memory, strengthens bones. The list goes on and on.
Garlic is also no less useful than Bulgarian pepper. It helps with heart diseases, is used as a prevention against cancer, hypertension, heart attack and stroke, improves immunity, resists germs and bacteria, helps with colds. It is also not the whole list of beneficial properties of garlic.
Parsley improves the performance of the cardiovascular system, helps excrete toxins and toxins, stones from the kidneys, improves metabolism, helps with diabetes, improves the appearance of the skin.
Vegetable oil prevents the accumulation of fat in the body, has a beneficial effect on the work of the stomach, improves cholesterol metabolism, and supplies the human body with energy.
One chicken egg contains proteins, fats, vitamins, trace elements, essential amino acids. All this is well absorbed by the human body.
So imagine what a powerful stream of nutrients will enter your body if you prepare this simple salad. This salad can be eaten all year round, because now you can buy all the vegetables and fruits. Even in our small district town there is a very large selection of vegetables and fruits in stores. They even deliver such fruits that you see for the first time and have not heard anything about the names. So eat salads from fresh vegetables from your garden and stay healthy.
