A farewell
You'll get there. By the hand of another, but you'll get there. A little bit wrinkler perhaps, or having lost a teeth fighting like a fierce pirate in a bar, but you'll get there. Maybe there'll be some bittersweet taste to your crazy smile, it won't come cheap learning to love yourself.
I hope no regrets will dare come near your eyes, only life gets us all dear, I trust you know that. But you'll get there. If I could give you one advice I would tell you to stop surviving and start living. Hoist the sails, for fuck sakes! Like the pirate you can be, like the daring human being I know you are.
You'll get there, I know you will. But perhaps in the way to your imminent destination you could spare the booty this time. I need my heart, you see. And I could plea, bargain, or make a stand. Non of it will matter, you will take it with a swift strike, like the pirate I know you are.
Perfectly!
