Saving a Life (One friend in risk of death)

As some of you know i work as psychologist in different orphanages in Guatemala.

In this time a boy contacted me, he was in one home some years ago, i met him there, then the judged decided to send him back with his mother, who was a drug addict, without the capabilities to take care of him. He was living in a poor area full of gangs.

So he wrote me in facebook asking for help, he told me he was in a gang, he was forced to do horrible things and he was desperated trying to get out out the group, knowing that the other members would go behind him to kill him.

i had my heart broken, I met him when he was 9 years old, today he is almost 18, we used to laugh and play togheter, to share meals and cry when it was necessary.

Today is in risk of death. I cannot judge him, he probably had robbed and do criminal things, but knowing his story, if i would have lived the same things i would be the same or even worse, I can only pray for him and hope there is a solution
