You're still not stealing coins from fountains? It's time to start

in #story7 years ago (edited)

Once in ancient times, when people had just invented the money thing, someone accidentally dropped a coin into a puddle. As he arrived at home, he began to look for the coin, and went back on his way, сhecking the roaid in the hope of finding his loss. So he went back to the puddle..and so the belief that if you throw a coin into a puddle, you'll certainly return appeared. Later, enterprising people appeared, who, seeing that people were throwing coin into puddles to return to them, began to organize special puddles for throwing coins. And even later, other people have come up with these special pools for spraying water, so that the ripples and foam on the water surface hide the fact that the bottom is covered with coins.

So, as we see the fountains were originally a business enterprise. So why don't make money from it?

There's two ways to earn here.

  1. Install your fountain, people throw money there, you live in happiness. Then you open the second one, the third, and so on slowly cover the surface of the whole planet with fountains.

  2. Steal coins from someone else's fountain. This, on the one hand, reduces capital expenditure on the construction of fountains. On the other hand, you risk getting an enemy in face of the owner of the fountain, into which you climbed. Whatever one may say, you prevent him from doing an important job of covering the planet's surface with fountains, and you should be punished. This is, by the way, the reason why there's only only ex-servicemen of amphibious troops in Russia who can afford climbing on foreign fountains.

Which option is best for you? It's simple. If you are strong enough and well armed, so that you can rob other people's fountains with impunity - it is most profitable to do this. If you are weak and poorly armed (ie you don't have at least nuclear weapons) - open your fountain.
