THE BOTTLED MESSAGE

John had everything he ever wanted except his freedom, he lost his siblings and mother to the plague and so his father was overprotective. On his 20th birthday, he ran from home, took a boat and sailed towards the east coast.
On his way, he was attacked by a group of pirates and left for dead on an island all by himself. John was devastated, he had never had to do anything for himself and now he was all alone in the middle of nowhere. He watched the water waves till he saw something wash ashore, looking closely, he discovered it was a bottled message, it was a message from a mother to her son Pete telling him how much she had missed him, never meeting his own mother, he envied the recipient of the letter and wondered if his own mother would have loved him the way Pete’s mother did.
The bottled message was his solace on the scary island, he would reread the contents everyday he spent on the island and found a new purpose,he was going to do domething for someone for a change, he was going to find Pete and hand him the bottled message.
