My virginity my pride

Many years ago, in a community called 'agulu', when a man get married to his wife after few days he is expected to return back to the inlaw house with drinks, goat and a white handkichef with a stain of blood on it ( prof of the wife virgnity). Why is prof necessary?? I know it will be the question runing through your mind!! It serve as a guide to the wife and honour to the girls family.
If anybody wrongly acused the wife of prostitution before marriage, with that prof the person will be buried alive, and if in any case the wife is not a virgin and the husband can not keep it a secret bettween the both of them she will be banished from the community.
There is this two love bird, Mma and Ebuka they both love themsalve so much and can die for each other, they share everything in common. Each time they are together ebuka finds it diffcuit to control his urge towards her but mma will always try her best to teach him how to have self control and wait patiently on there wedding night.![FB_IMG_1520022565232.jpg]

Three days to there wedding day, Mma was reap and her virgnity was taken from her, she was so shattered that she feels like committing suicide immediately. Mma cried and cried ' my virginity' 'my pride' 'my joy'. What will i tell ebuka my love, how on earth will he believe me, what a misfortune that has be fallen my family, how can i marry ebuka?? What will he present?? Even if he believe me will he ever trust me?? Will he ever he happy with me? What will i look like before him?? Will i ever have a happy home that i have been dreaming for??

Later in the day ebuka came to visit her, but she refuse to see him, she was ashame of herself, ebuka was suprise to hear that mma refuse to see him and he ask 'why' but no one know the reason. He was force to break down the door and go inside to his greatest surprise he saw Mma in tears and in pain, he was terrified and ask her what the problem was, she could not talk but crying, after alot of effort from ebuka, she later tell him what the matter is, he was broken, mma see how broken he was, apologize to him went outside to committe sucide, ebuka got her on time, promise her love, give her hope, encourage her, told her nothing can come between the both of them.
They later got married , live happily and have a child, they secret was just between the both of them, not even the third party hard about it. After the wedding the husband bought everything and take them to the inlaw just to cover up.
