Lurking back through my past memories has been quite a trip this Saturday morning. Among the myriad chapters; The good ones, the bad ones, the sad ones. I found one in particular that stands out over the many stories one individual can tell. I must warn you. All the events of this short story are real, so I may ask for your consideration and even judgement of my persona for all of these proceedings occurred about 10 years ago.

Long Story Short. Back in the day, Ten years ago when I was in college, after the classes were over. I went to a friend's house with some peeps I didn't know at all; just casually. We had a few drinks, getting to know each, and chatting. Then all of a sudden I noticed a cute girl on my radar —I must've not noticed at first— Smiling and looking at me with an air of shyness. The kind of look with all the signs a man needs to make the next move. In that moment I knew I was gonna "nail her" —what a douche—. After some more drinks, talking, and flirting. I managed to convince her to go to a more private place; One of the apartment's bedroom. We snuck into the bedroom. (Big House) It was dark, there we dind't waste any time and started kissing each other, touching each other and... STOP! The rest I cannot tell for obvious reasons but you should know the rest... Sadly, at those times, I was really inmature, and I didn't wear any protection, so after a cigarrette and some smooth talking, she, with a tragic and worried face told me...

"Before these events. Three years ago. My dermatologist diagnosed me with a skin disease called "Psoriasis" Basically my Skin-Changing process is faster than the average person and that causes me some inflamations and scabs, plaques-like, mostly on my back, elbows, knees and legs"

At first I was a bit staggered. I really don't know what, when, or why but in just fractions of seconds my mind analyzed multiples scenarios and equations. —Limitless— It was like, my whole life flashing before my eyes, yet in that moment of confusion, I saw some light and thought: —Hey I got this skin disease you know. Maybe I can use it to my advantage and I might save the time to go to a doctor and check if I really got AIDS, besides all the psychological I'm going to die, fuck my life, why didn't I wear a condom?, Momma help me!, fucking asshole she was a 6 ... BULLSHIT!—. And told her —"Don't worry; I Got AIDS, too"—. And proceeded to show her my Big, White and horrible Scabs.

After 30 seconds of silence, and no blinking. She broke apart and started to cry and curse. She said: —Why the hell didn't you wear a condom, I'm going to sue you Mother%$·$, I was joking around...—. Then she knelt and started asking me to tell her the truth, that I'm lying. :(

I stuck to my statement.

After a month, past these events. I heard she got psychological treatment and was really depressed for some time. Never saw her again. So girls be careful and don't mess with a guy with Psoriasis it can fire you back.
