A few days ago I was lucky enough to find a post that our friend @ mervancewalton published, where he invites us to participate in a new challenge, the slogan is to publish a memory or a memory that makes us feel good and was meaningful in our lives.

Undoubtedly this challenge is for me, the theme comes very well, since I like to share my experiences of life, although it is something that I have been publishing for more than a year and a half, not all the people of this wonderful platform know my story, for this reason I will start from the beginning.

I was born on July 19, 1968 in the land without bad (Corrientes) the hospital that saw me being born was the hospital Coni, named in honor of Dr. Emilio Ramón Coni, a prestigious professional of my province.

When we get to this world, people do not know what we are going to find, if you will be the lucky son of a celebrity or the spoiling child of a humble family, because of the economic situation that my country was going through Argentina, I have to belong to the class of the spoiled children.

A charming neighborhood I shelter in his arms, very popular after the taita del chámame made the composition of a song that bears his name,

My beloved neighborhood bathed north!

On the corner of the intersections of 25 de Mayo and Colombia streets, a huge colonial style house emerged, its owner was an imposing man, loved and loved by all those who knew him, Wenceslao Justo Mosqueda. My grandfather.

Although I lived with my parents and my beloved grandmother, all my attraction was for the personality and wisdom of my grandfather, a hard-working man despite having retired from two professions, (Commissioner inspector and elementary school teacher)

A person very required for their knowledge, neighbors visited daily to give them a hand with some procedure, was so many visits, he had to make an office to serve more comfortably to their visitors.

Time passed and my grandfather grew older, diseases began, including diabetes, this disease quickly affected his sight, however, the wise man was anticipating himself, from a very young he taught me to read, when blindness did not allowed to read, I was hired as his reading assistant.

My days started very early, my job was to wait at the corner to pass the canillitas and buy the three newspapers of my province, prepare two cups of tea and while we shared breakfast in his office, I had to read the three morning.

These readings were forming my character, a premature child full of knowledge and concerns, I never had any doubt, my poor grandfather had to explain very carefully when something did not understand.

In these circumstances, my grandfather made me read the paragraphs, then asked me to explain in my own words what I had read, without knowing he was teaching me what we call

The understanding of reading!

At that time they were very difficult years for our Argentina, we lived immersed in a military dictatorship, I had to read very unpleasant news,

The Rodrigazo!

It was named in honor of the minister of economy who led my country to broken banking, with a devaluation of the Argentine peso of 160% and an inflation of 770%, unique and historical fact in my country.

The shortage!

A very hard time for those of us who lived in this area of the world, the lack of the main foods of the basic basket, such as bread, milk and sugar, caused people to fight for half a kilogram of bread.

Missing people and children!

Going out of the house was a true odyssey, one went out and did not know if he returned to his home, we said goodbye to our relatives as if it were the last time we would see him again.

These were some of the news that I have to read, there were other facts that do not mercen to be named.

This situation not only caused a crisis at the country level, it also caused a crisis in the homes of the Argentines, our house was no exception, due to lack of money my mother had to go to work, my father's salary was not enough to cover the expenses , everything seemed like this was the best solution, however we did not count on my father's sick jealousy, ending in the separation of my parents.

But this is another story!

I hope you have enjoyed these memories, be careful, there are many more to come!
