The Two good bad friends

They say one good turn deserves another, but does that mean one bad turn should also deserve another one?

There are these two great childhood friends (kelvin and frank), they do virtually everything together, they are so close that their parents to because very close as a result of their children's friendship.
As time went on, their parents died but that didn't stop them from being friends.
Years later, one of the friends, Kelvin, went into kola nut farming, but goats and other animals were destroying the plant, so it was really fraustrating Kelvin. So he consulted some experts and they advised him to get something like a big calabash pot, but he didn't have money to purchase it.
After so many days of thinking of how he'll be able to raise the money, he then told his friend Frank about it, and without hesitation Frank gave him a very big calabash pot belonging to his grandmother.
Kelvin was so happy that he was shedding tears of joy, but Frank told him 'what are friends for?'
Kelvin went back to the farm and started the kola nut farming.

Years later, the kola nut started bringing out very big and nutritious seeds, that everyone in the community are always coming to buy his kola nut, before you knew it, he was getting rich, helping the people around him and also not forgetting his friend Frank.
As usual, they remained ever better friends.

Then one day, Frank wrote to Kelvin that he needed his calabash pot urgently, the he needed it not cracked, he needed it just the way he gave him.
Kelvin begged him that he'll buy another one for him, of the same size and shape but he refused, the king was also made aware of this, the king pleaded on Kelvins behalf, but all fell on a deaf ears.
So the king ordered the kola nut tree be cut down and the calabash removed carefully without any crack.
The tree was fell, the calabash was removed without any crack or scratch, and then given to the owner.
This didn't break there friendship, they were still very good friends.
Some years later, Frank's wife delivered a baby girl, the baby was so sick that she was about to die, she was taken from one hospital to the other, but no one knew the cause of the sickness not to talk of the cure.
Frank was advised to take the baby to a native doctor in the neighboring village, he did so and the native doctor treated her but told Frank that the baby will die in less than two weeks unless a chain made of gold and silver is worn on her neck.
After days of searching for such chain but not fruitful, he told his friend Kelvin about it, out of pity Kelvin removed the chain from his own neck and gave it to him, he told him that 'this chain has been in my family for 13 generations, it's being passed on from one generation to another, and the instruction my father gave me was that I should pass it to my first son.'
'But what are friends for?'
Frank was so happy that he didn't know when he started shedding tears, then he took the chain and her sick baby to the native doctor and some rituals were performed and the baby survived.

So many years passed on, the girl, now a lady. Grew to be a very beautiful lady, that all men in the entire community love her so much because of her beauty and her kind gesture.
So many young men (including princes and kings from other villages) wants to marry her. After so many things were considered and consulted, she decided to marry the prince of a neighboring village.
Some months into their wedding, Kelvin wrote to his friend, Frank, that the chain he needs the chain he gave him some years ago badly, that he needed it as he gave him, unscratched, not cut. Frank begged him that he'll give him twenty (20) of that same chain, but he refused, he said he needed the same chain he gave him. After so much pleading from so many people, Kelvin still said 'NO' that he needed the chain he gave him badly.
They even went to the king, but Kelvin still maintained what he's been saying, 'NO'.
Then they saw they don't have any other choice than to behead the girl, because there is no way they can remove the chain without any scratch or cut.
Lo and behold, the girl was beheaded and the chain removed and handed over to Kelvin.

That is the end of my story.
