Justice is Better Than Beauty

Anu Sirwan is one of the Persian Kisra (Emperors) who is well known for his justice and wisdom (wisdom) to his people. He lived long before the sending of the Prophet (s), but his stories of justice were well known and spread among the Arab community, although in fact he and his people were worshipers of fire, ie, Magi religion.

One of his stories is when Anu Sirwan will do the building to expand his palace. When he did the eviction and land acquisition of some of his people, it turns out there was an old lady with her reot hut who refused to sell. Various attempts, threats and seductions, a subtle but hard way to do but the woman persisted. The woman said, "I will not sell even though I will be paid with a basket of gold coins. But if he (ie Kisra Anu Sirwan) will evict him, and he is indeed able to do it, then it's up to it !! "

The executive of the expansion of the palace reported it to Anu Sirwan, and planned to evict the old woman's reot's shack, because her position was right in the center of the palace, on the front also. But Anu Sirwan said, "Do not do it, just let the hut in its place, but still carry out the expansion of development !!"

Development continues to be done, it's just bending to avoid the old woman's hut. When it was finished and guests came to attend Kisra Abu Sirwan's invitation at an event at the palace, many commented, "How beautiful is this palace if there is no crook (that old woman's shack) !!"

Hearing such comments, Anu Sirwan said, "Precisely with the crook that's the case straight, and the beauty is more perfect !!"

Although the appearance is 'less beautiful', but it is true and straight. Its condition and its 'beauty' become perfect because there is no one, though very weak and helpless, who feels doomed with the attitude of the ruler.

A similar event occurred when Egypt entered the Islamic territory after being detached from Roman at the time of Caliph Umar ibn Khattab. The then Egyptian governor, Amr bin Ash intended to establish a mosque (now known as the Amr bin Ash Mosque), but a Qibhti woman of a Christian faith refused when his reot hut would be bought / replaced at any price. It's just that Amr bin Ash still ordered to evict the Qibhti woman's house for the construction of the mosque to be completed.

Qibthi woman who feels prejudiced by the governor's actions walks to Medina to complain to the Caliph. Hearing the complaint, Umar picked up the pottery fragments, and wrote with his sword, "We have more right to do justice than Kisra Anu Sirwan !!"

Umar ordered the Qibhti woman to hand over the 'letter' of pottery to Governor Amr bin Ash. He also provided an excess supply to the Christian woman, to be able to return safely to Egypt. When Amr bin Ash received 'letters' from Umar, he immediately put the pieces of pottery on top of his head, crying for forgiveness to God. He ordered the development executors to re-establish the Qibhti women's shack, and deflected the mosque's building, so that the shape was bent.
