A Brief Story of Samurai x
Samurai X has the original title of Rurouni Kenshin is anime manga and anime by Nobuhiro Watsuki who background from the Meiji era in Japan. This manga is published in Shonen Jump weekly magazine and has been recorded into 28 series of books. In Indonesia the manga was published by Elex Media Komputindo in 2002 under the title Samurai X.
This manga tells of a samurai from the Chosu group who had won the battle in the Tokugawa shogunate era which ultimately formed a new era in Japan called the era Meiji. In the Meiji period, one is no longer allowed to carry swords in the streets.
At this time, Kenshin Himura or better known as "Hitokiri Battousai" or Batosai the slayer, regretted his past actions that had killed many people, and he vowed not to kill anyone in this period. For that Kenshin uses the sword "Sakabatou", whose sharp edged eyes are reversed.
The name Samurai X was first used by ADV Films in the release of the anime Rurouni Kenshin in America. This name is taken from the X-shaped codet on Kenshin's face.

Story
In the seven years of the meiji era (1878), the swordsman had wandered in tokyo. He brings Sakabatou (sword with inverted blades), and he has an X on his left cheek. He is always alone and alone.
Do not know how, a girl named Kaoru Kamiya accused and claimed him as the legendary Hitokiri Battousai. This guy kills the people in the kaoru family. When he saved her from the dead, this girl invited her to live in her own Doujo, for the reason that she had no place to live. This is the beginning of the story of Kenshin Himura.
Before the Meiji restoration, Kenshin Himura became known as Hitokiri (Killer) Battousai. In those days he was the famous killer for the Reformist group called Ishin Shishi. Do not know why, when the old government fell, Hitokiri Battousai disappeared. Kenshin wanders to another country for 11 years; the world declares that he has lost or died.
When Kenshin meets Kaoru, he does not have the identity of Hitokiri Battousai anymore. His sword is not an ordinary sword, but with a reversed sword (Sakabatou), meaning he will not be able to kill anyone again, but in use to defend himself. Kenshin is someone who wants to try to forget his past, and create a new future of his own. With Kaoru's help and the few people he met, he gets the change.
WE DOUJO
Kaoru Doujo opened another martial school. Upon the arrival of Kenshin, kenshin and Kaoru helped a child named Yahiko Myojin. Yahiko is being pressed by one of the alleyways, but he wants to help but they are too much. Kenshin immediately responded and saved them both. When the boy told kenshin that he wanted to be like kenshin, kenshin immediately welcomed him that he would not teach anyone how to kill him and he asked Kaoru if he was going to teach the child, and finally Kaoru agreed to teach martial arts to the child.
Sanosuke was the first person to come to the doujo. Very powerful, Sanosuke uses a giant Zanba sword. This sword is in difficult design in its use, but Sanosuke is very capable of using the sword normally. When a group of people get drunk at a restaurant and make trouble, sanosuke immediately challenges them and finally sanosukepun win. After that, Sanosuke challenged Kenshin, but he refused. Meanwhile, one of the bar visitors hired anyone who could kill Kenshin. After the fight, Kenshin wins. Next they both became friends and lived in doujo.
And the last one is megumi. He is a young doctor, he works with another doctor who supplies Opium to criminals. When the doctor died, Megumi took over, how to make drugs. After Kenshin found out he just became a clinic doctor and helped in the doujo.
BACKGROUND STORIES
Rurouni Kenshin is set in the Meiji era, in 1868. It was a time of good change for Japan. Politics and Economy play an important role in this kenshin story.
Collapsed Fomer SHOGUN ERA TOKUGAWA
Before the meiji restoration, japan had shogun troops for over 200 years. After the battle with Sekigahara, in the 1600s, Tokugawa Ieyasu united Japan and declared himself to be the Shogun, ruling the country of japan.
After the Tokugawa period (1600-1858), in Japan is divided into three classes of position, namely: Nobility, Samurai and Farmers. Nobles make the rules, Samurai run the rules, Farmers abide by the rules. Do not know why, farmers produce food to feed the three classes. Taxes come from rice, and from the taxes are given to the daimyo (regional leaders).
After the start of the Tokugawa period, there was a "fourth class" of Merchants. The merchants were oppressed because they did not give or produce anything.
Then when Admiral Perry sailed into Tokyo bay and in command by japan to open trade routes, the Japanese farmers were unhappy, they were in debt and the samurai class was almost helpless, and the government could cope with its own burden. Merchants one of which can play an important role in power. Finally, the government knows that they can not process the US.
RESTORATION OF MEIJI
However, much debate occurred at the beginning of the revolution. The people considered the government very weak, since they accepted the existence of US. Many societies are afraid that the renewal relationship with the outside world will result in disaster. Ishin rebels were born from this incident, and want the Japanese back as before. Their motto "SONNO JOI" ("honor the emperor and exorcise the primitives") and this is the plan they will do.
But they only get in the beginning only. The Ishin Rebellion (where Kenshin and Shishio were part of Ishin) declared his legitimacy to the emperor, and restored the throne to him. After all, imperialism swept across Asia including Indonesia, but Japan did not want to be a colony of European countries. So they decide to compete for power.
Kenshin does not fight for Ishin, but for himself, he does not want to go to war, and fight only to protect himself and the people he cares about. Kenshin never found peace in the Meiji era.
Different story with Saito. Since he met with shisengumi, he followed the teachings of belief "San Zoku An" (heresy). It was this belief that made him enter the Meiji security forces. The idea came to drop kenshin. After the establishment of a legitimized government, the leaders decided that Shishio had known much; knowledge is very dangerous and can destroy the meiji government. So they plan on burning Shishio.
MANGA
Manganya appeared in 1994, and was made in series by Watsuki Nobuhiro. According to the authors, that the story only runs 10 volumes, and can be narrowed again into 3 or 4 volumes only, in fact the manga is in demand in the market and in the extend to 23 volume.
Kenshin became the inspiration of making by watsuki. After some consideration, he finally chose that background of the manga story he made in the Meiji era, because he was inspired by the novel story he once read. When he planned to make the manga into 10 series, he decided to use the 11 year story of the meiji period, because for 11 years there were many exciting events.
However, there are other stories in the manga rurouni kenshin besides the meiji era.
ANIME
In the tv series can be divided into 2 parts. The first Tokyo chapter, tells kenshin and his main character build Kamiya Doujo. After the characters in the introduction, the story tells the individual of each character; many stories are not listed in the manga.
Second, the Kyoto chapter begins from kenshin coming to Kyoto to prevent Shishio from influencing the Meiji government. Another story is that he left his friends in us doujo and got his new friend in Kyoto, he refused help from his new friends because he did not want to bother and influenced by his friends. He must be Hitokiri (slaughterer) again. Of course, Kaoru and others can not go with him to Kyoto. This kyoto chapter is strongly influenced by its manga story.
The series tv goes through 94 episodes, (actually 95 episodes, 1 episode is not showing). When it comes to episode 26, the story starts running excitingly.
His movie REQUIEM FOR THE SHISHI ISHIN was released in theaters in 1997. In the film, Shigure is one of many people who believe that the meiji government has many cases. Once again, the betrayal that made the Meiji government fall strongly affected in the story of RUROUNI KENSHIN.
His OVA tells the continuation of his series TV story. Ovanya has 2 series, the first has 4 episodes and both ova 2 episodes. The first ova tells kenshin from the very beginning he became Hitokiri, his real name is Shinta, his family was massacred and he was saved by Seijuro Hiko and he changed his name to Kenshin Himura. He learns the sword from seijuro with Hiten Mitsurugi's swordsmanship. Ova 2 tells of kenshin who wants to leave his Batousai character until he has sickness, and leaves his Sakabatou (sword) which is then inherited to Yahiko Myojin. In this ova 2 kenshin boy named Kenji Himura is also told, he really hates to Kenshin but he learns Hiten Mitsurugi to Seijuro Hiko. Kenji inherited his Sakabatou Sword but he refused, finally after Yahiko won the fight with kenji finally kenji received the sword. In Ova2, this is the final story of RUROUNI KENSHIN, Kenshin Himura passed away.
"X" means "NO"
RENOUNI KENSHIN in lyrical in the US and substituted for SMURAI X, it is very difficult to shed this story in America because of the long-standing hostility between America and Japan. Therefore "X" is defined as "NO" (not), so SAMURAI "NO" (samurai "no").

Or we can choose to mourn which will make the pain even more painful.
To smile at a time when everything goes as we please is easy. However, it takes great intelligence and courage to smile in times of misfortune.
