When will I see You again ? (Old Friend)

As the collage student we have to obey Tridarma University, that is :

1. Education and teaching (pendidikan dan pengajaran)
2. Research (Penelitian)
3. Devotion of community (Pengabdian pada Masyarakat)

ad.1 Education and teaching its meaning all the activity we did while school, read a book, listen for teacher speaking, make an homework, anything we get in the room or inside the university.

ad.2 Research its meaning one of final test we have done, because if we fail, it mean we are not pass, so we must try again and again till pass, this one is calling by essay (Skripsi).

ad.3 Devotion of community its meaning is we will assigned to the field to share some knowledge we get from school to them, and then we make a report. Its calling by KKN (kuliah kerja nyata).

21 april 2015, that is the day we were assigned to some place to do our one of final duty as collage student. We were make in a group, there is combined which one and others, not just which one collage, like I'm. I'm accounting student and my friends they were come from different collage, like faculty of engineering, faculty of agriculture,faculty of law , faculty social and political sciences and others. In the first day Im so scare, Im afraid if I couldn't joint them, but by Allah give blessing, I can do that well.

So we were assigned in Kuala Keureuto Barat village, Tanah Pasir districts, North Aceh. That village may be in catagory small, because there is just 58 (family card : Kartu keluarga), and 216 population, large of area 80 Hectare. so you can imagin how these, when we give first greating to them all, we just going by walk. And there is haven't any school, so all the children going to other village for school, good news there is not too far. 😰

First day we there, we just take socialization activity, Second day we make a program that we want to do there, but our missions gived by university is "Economic Empowerment of Coastal Communities". So our duty is just like we have to teach them about how to manage village funds, but as you see that is not a small thing, so the mission cann't going easy, and change to be movie "mission impossible" 😂. But is ok, so Im as an accountanting student, just give some lectures how to make ledger and simple report by using computer exactly Microsoft Exxel. I can say Thanks to Allah SWT that plan going well 🤓.

So because there not too much we can do, but we must keep going finishing our duty so then we just going to analyze what kind of the poeple there do for daily job, just want to know in order we can make a report. as you see, that village is Seashore, so much of them is fisherman, and when we get data entry, there is just 3 bachelor, but others is fisherman as common and wiraswasta. Its sound surprising me, but that is true, almost cann't belive that truth, but that is reality.

However in that case, there is great thing we found there too, that village had :

1. There is an market place to buy and sell the resources of sea like fish, grim, crab and others and there is have some small shop who selling food needes, so we not have going too far to get
2. There is an home industry, they make a moslem hat (Peci), their group name is "Rencong" and all of them is boy
3. There is too have personal job doing by mommy, making mat by using sea ​​pandan leaves and they sell it
4. There is an fishermen group, in order they can ask for fund or facility from goverment
5. There is have an pets group, like goat and cows

There is one more thing was surprising me, there is just one student senior hight school, three student junior, and around 10 elementary school, how shocking we are. But that is fine, during they are have a big spirit to make a development their self and their home.

Teaching english lesson

We did it once in a week, because we teaching match, and reading holly book too (Al Qur'an). Why just that ? Because they ask me to teach english and match only, they said that is important, because at school they could not get. Im in confusing and sound unbelivable, but I try to do my best .

That day we make a water filter in menasah (litle mosqui), the water colour is red 😱, how to do that ? We make it by using small stone, sandy, and some coconut pulp, fibers and used bucket. (No picture in ready again 😪😰, sorry # header
