THE BUDDHA AND THE BEGGAR

THERE'S A REALLY FAMOUS STORY THAT I
HAVE BEEN HEARING IN THAILAND THAT I
WANT TO SHARE WITH THE WHOLE
WORD IF I COULD

This is the story of buddha and the homeless
man

One day there was a homeless man and Is been try to gather the food And he keep noticing that every day is foo disappears One day he caught the mouse that kept stealing is food and he ask the mouse Why are you stealing from me ? I'm homeless man you can't steal from the richer than me And it won't have any effect on them the mouse then told the homeless man It's in your destiny that you can only have eight items in your possession No matter how much you beg, no matter how much you gather this is all you'll be able to have the homeless man was shocked and said why is that my destiny the mouse said I don't know , you can try and ask the Buddha. So the homeless man goes on his journey to go find the buddah And he's going , it gets late So it end up at A wealthy family's house and he ask if he could stay the night.. They ley him in and they ask him " young man , why you traveling so late and he answered i have a question for the Buddha and tomorrow i'll be on my way, the family then says, can we give you a question to ask the Buddah ? We have a Sixteen years old daughter who can't speek we just want to ask we do we have to do to make her speak? So the homeless man thanks for the shelter and tell them " of course , i'll ask your question for you , so the next morning he goes and continue his journey and sees a sea of mountain that he has to cross he climbs one mountain and he meets a wizard and the wizard decides to use his staff to take the young man and himself fly them across the sea of mountain and the wizard ask the young man.. Where are you going ? Why are you deciding to cross the mountain , the young man said , i'm going to ask the Buddah question about my destiny and the wizard then says " can i please give you a question to ask the Buddah ? I've been trying to go to heaven for a thousand years according to my teachings i should be able to go to heaven now. Can you please ask the Buddah what do i have to do to go to heaven ? Of course i'll ask your question for you and as he continues his journey he runs to is last obstacle wich is the river that he can not cross luckily he meets a giant turtle who decide to take him across the river as they're across the river the turtle ask where are you going? I'm going to see the Buddah to ask the question about my destiny. The turtle then says, can you please ask a question about me too? I've been try to become a dragon for 500years according to my teaching i should have become a dragon for now , can you please ask the Buddah what did i have to do to become a dragon? The young man tanks the turtle for taking him across the river and says "of course, i'll will ask your question for you ... The homeless man finally meet the Buddah and the Buddah tells everybody I'll answer three question from everybody here today but only three question.. The young man shocked he has four question to ask the Buddah and so he think carefully he thinks about the turtle living for 500years trying become a dragon, the wizard has been living for 1000years trying to get to the heaven, the young girl living are hole life unable to speak and then it look at himself an he said i'm just a homeless beggar i can't just go home and continue begging so as he looks at everybody else's has is own problem, his problem suddenly seems so small. He feels sorry for the turtle, the wizard and the girl and decides to ask all of there question. So he ask the Buddah and the Buddah answers .the turtle is unwilling to leave his shell as long as he unwilling to leave The comfort of his shell he will never become a dragon. The wizard always carries his staff and never put it down it acts as an anchor keeping him from heaven and as for the girl she will be able to speak when see meet are soulmate . so the homeless man bowed to the Buddah and went on his journey back home , He reunites with the turtle and he tell the turtle you just have to take off your shell and you become a dragon ,the turtle take off his shell and inside his shell were priceless pearls founds in the deepest part of the ocean and he give to the homeless man tell him Thanks you i am no longer need this again because i'm now a dragon and it fly away. The homeless man reunites with the wizard and says Hey you just have to put down your staff and you'll be able to go to heaven , The wizard let go off his staff by giving it to the young man and he says " thank you," and ascends to heaven. The young man have wealth from the turtle and power from the wizard ... He go back to the family that give him shelter and he tells them Buddah says your daughter will be able to speak when she meet her soulmate and at that moment the daughter came to the downstairs and said ,hey is that man that was here last week the young and the once homeless man have find there soulmate .

This story tell us so many things so many lessons for me , i thinks that sometimes ..

(1) we have to give things , in other to get some things
(2) Sometimes if we want to become a dragon, we want to become a lion, we have to be willing to leave behind what make us to be comfortable , what make us feel so safe , we have to leave for our comfort Zone just like the turtle did and in other to find true love we must become somebody who is willing to put others before ourselves when you're alone or when you're Lost in your thoughts Sometime your problem seems so big and it may seems that it is the end of world But sometimes if we look at other peoples lives and other people's who don't have as much opportunity as us , who have it worst than us , sometimes it make our problems Seems so much smaller and if were willing to lend a hand to does who are struggling more then us and are willing to help them It may change the course of your life and your destiny and also the universe may Repay you in such a way that you never would have imagined. It will come back to you all the good you do in this word will come back to you , so if you're going through hard time right now ..... I hope this story help
