Marquette Records - tribute to a funk/soul relic of the Bay Area
This project serves as our humble tribute to Marquette Records -- a small, funk / soul record label that was based in Pacifica, California in 1968-1969. This now-defunct label’s releases include Rick Baker’s “Got You (Now Kiss Me In My Mouth)” and The Mystics’ “Copp And Blow”.
The apparel and goods in our capsule collection feature Marquette Records' iconic imagery and color scheme, and are complemented by a rare, one-of-a-kind original record.

There's nothing like digging up a relic of the past. We had a lot of fun with this project, re-imagining what a modern-day merch collection might look like for a defunct business from our home region. We've got some more research projects like this in the works too, stay tuned!
so dope yall bringing back the Bay Area classics! music is for life
