Honestly building up your steemit power first is the best way to really start earning....some boots can certainly help like @upmewhale. When you send them steem then you get bonus steem power back...... But a lot of them are trash in general.....but ultimately build up steem power. It's definitely a bit of an investment but just having 100 sp will make a huge difference in upvote and curation value
