A real teaching of life by my grandfather
I just want to write a story that my grandfather is used to tell. The original story is in Italian but maybe it exists in English too. Anyway, I'll try to translate it, hope you like it.
Once upon a time, a little bird was shaking on a tree because of the cold temperatures. It was too cold that at some point the bird fell to the ground, thinking about its imminent death.
But, a cow came next to it and started to defecate on the bird, submerging it. What a providential event! The bird was rising again thanks to the heat of the cow's poop. It tried then to fly away but it was trapped in that smelly situation.
Meantime, a fox arrived. After it saw the bird trapped, it pulled out and carefully cleaned the bird. When the bird started thanking the fox for being so kind, the fox ate it in one bite.
The moral of the story: who shits you is not always wishing harm on you and who pulls you out the shit is not always on your side.
