I can't wait for the next instalment! I'm very interested to hear what happen with you trespassing charge.. does this mean that if you have a record you can still later on apply to join law enforcement? or is there a limit on that? For example, if you were charged with a felony I take it that would be to severe and you'd never get into law enforcement?

You asked a great question about having a criminal history. It plays a BIG part in actually getting sworn in, or having the power of arrest. Each case is different and the board reviews each case to determine if the applicant is a go or no go. I had to jump through several hoops over my past to get sworn in, it was a headache.
Oh yeah man, I am loving this series of yours. Its something I have always been curious about but I have never encountered any stories like this that take you through the whole process.
I look forward to reading about the hoops you had to jump through, its pretty cool that even if you made some mistakes in your past, that you can still get a chance.. even if it is a headache!
