Documentary Review Making a Murderer P2 E10 Trust No One

in #story6 years ago

Who judges judges you might ask? We'll get to philosophical questions in our series wrap up discussions. For now Kathleen is in discussions with the Wisconsin attorney general prosecutors about gaining access to Teresa's rav4 for more examination. The prosecutors are amenable regarding some unassigned blood on the outside of the rear door and also some unassigned DNA on the license plates. They balk when it comes to the broken parking light which is a red flag, but the process continues.

Judge Angela Sutkiewicz? Again? This pig who has already ruled against Steven twice before denies his attempts for an evidentiary hearing in a terse 6 page decision. Now, it seems the next step will be to make a joint motion explaining how stupid her decision was and how she should vacate it based on cooperation already underway based on agreement between both sides. But, despite acknowledging they had an agreement the Wisconsin filth decline to join Kathleen in her motion to vacate, but that they would not object to it.

Kathleen amends a motion to reconsider with information from a hostile phone call between Steven from prison and Scott and Barb, and also facebook posts further contradicting Bobby's testimony. A Wisconsin agent and Calumet special investigator question Bobby about his testimony. Bobby says his testimony was true.

Kathleen is now petitioning the Wisconsin court of appeals because she gets nowhere with pig Sutkiewicz.

In discussions with a cremation expert we learn the bones in evidence are only about 20% of what a whole body would produce. Going through the evidence they discover a second and third bone site on the Manitowoc quarry which have saw marks on them, something the jury didn't know . Also, remnants of the main torso are missing.

The Coroner.
The coroner Debra Kakatsch called Wiegert and said she wanted to see the crime scene. Wiegert rudely said he didn't have to call her about bones. Actually, it's law and regular practice. Coroners are always notified. The next morning she was going to go to the scene when she was called in to a meeting with sheriff Peterson of Manitowoc. She was told she will be arrested if she goes to the scene. By Wisconsin law the coroner is the lead in a crime scene with human remains, it was the coroner who had the authority to arrest the sheriff! She left and was promptly contacted by two separate county filth telling her to stay away, both mentioning the conflict of interest and the $36,000,000 lawsuit. But she had never worked an Avery case before. Furthermore, Manitowoc was all over the scene despite publicly recusing itself!

Kakatsch takes the stand but judge Willis made her leave and found her inadmissible.

Brendan
It turns out Easterbrook joined the dunces and the en banc 7th circuit upheld his conviction. The only step next is the supreme court which only accepts about 80 out of 8000 cases submitted per year. Enter Seth Waxman. He is about the most experienced lawyer when it comes to arguing before the supreme court with about 80 cases under his belt. The supreme court refuses to hear the case. The question we have is what happens to Brendan when Kathleen gets Steven out of jail?

Prosecutorial Misconduct.

Bobby's hard drive? The one with all that heinous content? It was handed over to the defense as Brendon's computer, not Bobby's. Kratz had the officer who investigated the drive stipulated as unnecessary as a witness. The defense agreed to this stipulation because Kratz had mischaracterized both its identity and significance.

Back to the pig.
The Wisconsin court of appeals sends Steven's case back down to pig Sutkiewicz instructing her to hold any necessary hearings and rule on the Brady violation regarding Bobby's hard drive.
