Sudden Strike

A very short experience that made a lifetime tragic.
It was 6am that morning when i heard a loud bang on the door, i can sense the fear from my apartment across the street, i heard the deep voice shouting 'open the door!!! ' and immediately Mr Akpan obeyed and the Armed robbers got into his house. There was a plan work and this made them have an information that Mr Akpan brought 2million naira home last night, he denied at first then he was threatened by the robbers as they tried to rape his wife, immediately he begged and promised to show them where the money was.
On their way up to the room, Mr Akpan's daughter woke up to a scene she couldn't relate to, she tried hiding but it was too late and immediately she was told by one of the robbers to follow them to the room. While Mr Akpan got to the wardrobe in his room, for the fear of them not hurting any of his family member, he cooperated and gave them the money complete. On his way down to the sitting room, he found one of the robbers having sex with his wife at gunpoint and immediately out of annoyance, Mr Akpan tried to fight him but was threatened and he was forced to sleep with his daughter as his punishment and immediately he pleaded by rolling on the floor but there was a reply from one of their gang member, 'as you dey form king Kong for this small show oya climb your daughter to balance this equation'. There was a wicked laugh from one of the robbers and immediately a gun was placed on the head of his daughter, out of fear Mr Akpan slept with his daughter and this immediately brought a sudden blackout in his family.
Weeks later, Mr Akpan's wife started acting funny and after much treatment for the wrong ailment, she went for a medical test and found out she was pregnant. The next day, Mr Akpan's daughter started vomiting also forcing her to run a pregnancy test which came out positive. Everything changed suddenly for the Akpan's family and this brought about 'confusion and fear', after nine months they both gave birth successfully, there was happiness and sadness in the ward as the worst news became a reality that made Mr Akpan realize that he is the father to his daughter's child and a stranger to his wife's new daughter.
Shame, agony, pain, tears and fear became the title of Mr Akpan's family as this was a stigma that lasted in the family. The next day, Mr Akpan committed suicide leaving the family in greater pain... THE END.
