Haft-sin

Haftesen is a journey that Iranians throw in Nowruz. This way the ground or placed on the reader base. Family members sit next to the Haftesin table during the year. The hands hold the table until the thirteen days after Nowruz and at the end of the cycle, on the thirteenth day of Nowruz, they will put the bride in water.

Other components of the table
Alongside Haft Sin, there are other components that are commonly referred to as notions of renaissance, fertility, abundance, wealth (like coins) and the like. These components may be used to adorn or complete the set. One of these components can be mirrors, books (Quran, Bible or a collection of poems such as the Divan Hafiz and Shahnameh Ferdowsi), candlesticks (in some traditions, the number of candles to the number of children of the family), colored eggs, flowers, sweets, nuts, Sangak bread, rose water, tin or water bowl (usually containing leaves or fish or pomegranates or bergamens or other citrus fruits), pussy, fountains and eating vegetables.
