True short story #3

The Worst week ever. It's started out on my birthday. I bought a used car, I was pretty excited. I brought it in for a safety and emissions test. The guy took my info and I had left. I got a call later that day from the machanic, it was bad news it passes the emissions test and failed the safety.

 It needed $2000 canadian dollars to fix it, so I can put it on the road. Well I said I would come down and pick up the car. When I got there he charged me for the services $175 dollars. Happy birthday to me i thought to myself! I paid $500 for the car and paid $120 for plates and temp sticker.

 I was in debt with this car it was a money pit. So I decided to take the car to the grave yard, I couldn't sell it for what I put into it. 

So the next day it was pouring rain and it was the day! I got in the car and drive it straight to the grave yard. I got $220 for my car wooohoooo...It was better then nothing. 

It was still pouring out and I had to walk home, I had the money in my pocket with my cell phone. I was a happy camper! As I was walking my phone went off i pulled it out of my pocket and put it back.  I got about 2 and a half blocks away as I was gone passed my house and gonna go to the store. I then reached into my pocket and there was no money, I started to freak out...

I started to walk back and back track my steps. Soaked and sweaty from the rain and my fear of losing my money. I made it all the way back to where my phone went off and their it was laying on the ground in a puddle. I picked up the money and put it back in my pocket. Looking around I noticed a gentle man coming from across the street and walked right past me. I thought to myself wow I would of made his day if I didn't get there in time. All I could do is thank the Lord for looking over me in my time of need.
