Love over a cup of tea

Nitya was married to Saahil three months back, But till today she is not happy.

This is an arranged marriage and Nitya is trying very hard to woo Saahil but everything went in vain.

Actually after the marriage, Saahil and Nitya had to move to a new city, far from their parents and Nitya was a girl who was grown and brought up in a Joint family so she was not open to the idea of living alone with the spouse only.

Saahil used to go to the office at 9 am in the morning and he used to be back by 6 pm. Then he used to do little bit of his office work, then tv for 1 hour then he used to take his dinner and then he used to go to bed by 11 pm for sleep.

On the other hand, Nitya was left to be all alone, no friends, no family and even husband with whom she is living in a new place is unknown to her.

She missed the evening time which she used to spend with her mother and they used to drink Tea and they used to gossip about everything from their relatives, friends, work and any absurd thing. That was the only time which Nitya used to love, as she was a tea lover. She used to like the tea in the evening in any season. But all she needs is the company which she looked in Saahil, but it was very soon broken as she got to know that he doesn't like Tea.

She was missing an emotional connectivity in a new place. As their relation was new, she was not able to say many things to Saahil about her likes and dislikes. All she used to do, is to cook new recipes for Saahil, which she got to know from his mother about his likes and dislikes. In return she had always expected some compliment or some friendly conversation. But Saahil always seems to be busy in his work.

Things went on like this, and like that they have completed 6 months. Then the day came for which Nitya was waiting for 1 month impatiently. She is going to meet her parents very soon.

She went to her place. Where she talked about Saahil over a cup of tea with her Mother. Her mother asked her, Is Saahil is rude? She said No. She again asked, "Does he stops you from doing anything"? She said No.

Then her mother explained, You guys had an arrange marriage, its not possible that two people who are living under one roof will share the same choices and opinions so you should respect each other's wishes. Her mother explained her that first year is the most difficult year, where you have to cope up with so many changes.

She got the things in her brain and her mother explained her to look for job so that she will get to know the new place better and she will also have her schedule so she does not have to be dependent on anyone to entertain her.

One week past very soon, one day door bell rang and Nitya opened the door and she was shocked to see Saahil. He came inside and said " I came here to take you". She does not expected this because she was planning to return on her own and she doesn't ask Saahil because of his busy schedule.

She went along him. There was a long silence between them in the train. Sometimes you cannot explain many things. Now they are back in their alien city. But this time, there was a change in Saahil, which she was trying to figure. He opened the door of their home and she went inside. He said her to sit down and he went to the kitchen. She was surprised to see that Saahil is bringing her favourite tea and that was not only one cup in the tray, there were 2 cups.

She was so astonished, they took the sip together, although tea was not prepared very good, but she loved it, because it was made by Saahil. When her tea was finished, he handed her an envelope, she opened it and saw Saahil has given her a surprised ticket to Europe. She hugged him and least she expected and he said, I really missed you, and I went mad in your absence, even this tea doesn't taste bad when you are with me.

My home is complete with your presence. I was busy in my work because I was working hard to get some money for our trip which I want to give you. Will be my tea buddy? She started crying and there was a happiness in her eyes and she said "Yes" and she just remembered her mother.

She thanked god and from that day, they have started taking the sip of tea together after they both return from their work.

They never missed their evening tea.
