Great line that sums up the story well. I really enjoyed the slow build here. The metaphors all work perfectly to convey the drama of the characters. I would have liked a bit more conflict between Greta and the Speaker, but the story remains strong either way.
The nonsensical date (34th April) was spooky as shit. And the last line was powerful.

Well.. let's say that the descent to Hades might be slightly "eased" from that particular place. About the conflict, thanks for this point.. Probably I could have added a paragraph. I was focused on developing the morbid relation between the victim and [expunged]'s last artifact. Thanks for passing, Dirge.
