Xpilar - A Walk in The Sun Scorched Desert Sand

I once heard a story about a man who was offered a piece of land in a desert.

There was one condition.

He needed to walk the distance that he wanted to purchase, but had to be back from where he started at nightfall.

The terrain in the desert land would be his, if he kept to the conditions.

He set off n the early morning and was able to cover a lot of ground.

As the sun got hotter at midday so did his pace. He became hotter and found the sun unbearable.

He thought to himself that he could gain a bit more ground.

Eventually he turned around and headed to the starting point to gain his prize of the alloted area he had walked.

Unfortunately about a few kilometers from the finish he succumbed to the heat and perished.

Had he prepared well and not been so greedy, he would have received the prize of land.

Maybe the seller knew he would bite off more than he could chew and fail the test.

Such a warning to us all.
